Surprise in the Easter Basket: Writing Prompt #326

Happy Easter everyone (okay, post Easter, but I took the weekend off).

For today’s writing prompt, write a scene (or story) where your character receives something unexpected in their Easter Basket (and it shouldn’t be an engagement ring–that’s just too obvious). Be creative and think of something unusual hidden in the stuffing. Who put it there and why? What reaction from observers and/or your character?

  1. … I was thinking severed head. But that’s probably too obvious, too.

    • Zombie bits… or the zombie itself. Or maybe that’s too obvious as well.
