Writing Prompt #165

For today’s prompt, imagine your main character has an incredibly bad habit. As they enter a room full of people, they think: “remember, they’ve never seen you before in their life.”

What is their habit? How might they act differently in an effort to keep other people from finding out what that habit is? Back your character up against a wall (literally or figuratively) so their habit comes out. What happens? How do others react? How does your main character react?

Inspired by a quote on my Andy Warhol calendar (shoes, what’s not to like?).
