Writing Prompt #112

Last night I met with my writer’s group for an informal get together with a previous member of our group. She’s been off sailing through Central America and came home to visit family before heading to the South Pacific. (God, doesn’t that sound luscious)

Of course in a group of writers, talk turned to what we are working on. We talked about the ideas we’ve hatched. The ones that started and failed. One of us mentioned her file of abandoned projects, wondering if she would ever finish them. We all nodded. After all, we’ve all got those files of writing we started and never finished. So I said: “Combine them.”

So for today’s prompt, do just that. Search through some of your old projects. Find an idea in one that might work with something from another project. You never know what brilliance might result.
